1. I read a lot about Sukin hair products. I read all these
reviews about how good it is, it’s so natural yada yada. I bought the shampoo
and conditioner and was pretty excited to say the least. No sulfates, sign me
up! (what are they, anyway?). the first thing I didn’t like is that it doesn’t
lather. Look, I know no sulfates means no lather which turns out to be a no
deal for me. The second thing I noticed was my hair was STILL OILY after I
dried it. So I tried again. It’s not me, it’s the product. Thirdly, it makes my
hair feel like it can’t breathe.
Is it just me, or do other people not like Sukin too?
2. I am thinking of some small business ideas because frankly, my
job doesn’t excite me. I’m not sharing anything yet, but if you have been down
that path or are heading there then I would love to hear from you!
3. If you follow me on twitter or instagram you would have seen that I cut all my hair off. I went from hair below my boobs, to
hair that sits on my shoulders. I had not even been thinking about it. In fact,
it was 4pm the day of the cut when I decided to go wild and chop all my hair
off. It took me a week to regret it and while I still love the cut, I do miss
those long locks. Lucky for me, my hair grows really fast so there will be no
issues with growing it back before my wedding like a girl at work mentioned.
Um, ok..not even engaged yet!!
I love your new hair!
ReplyDeleteI also love Sukin for their skincare .. didn't really love their shampoo either. Sulfates are an ingredient in skincare / haircare / soap that creates the lather. It can be drying and irritating to people with sensitive skin. It's basically the new 'devil ingredient'.
Thank you :-)
DeleteAh, I see. I think I might keep using the 'devil ingredient' for awhile as it makes my hair feel cleaner haha!
I haven't used Sukin hair Products before. I must say though no lather must be annoying. It is the fun part of shampooing after all.
ReplyDeleteGo you with the starting of a small business! All I can say is it is daunting at first and a lot of hard work. Takes about maybe a year to really set it up, but once it is established you will enjoy it and you will find working for yourself a lot more fulfilling for sure.
I totally agree!
DeleteI have to do a lot of research before I take the leap, but I am confident. Thanks for the tips :-)
Ooh absolutely adore your new hair. It's so sleek and fresh! My hair is currently as long as your before picture, but I'm in two minds about getting it chopped off. I've regretted going short so many times that I've just let it get longer and longer.
ReplyDeleteMaybe mid-summer I'll chop it off!
Thank you! I still really love it short. I adored my long hair, but it is nice to have a change.
