Sunny Sunday

Sydney was beautiful and sunny today, so rather than spend it doing Uni work, we decided to pick a suburb and go for a walk.

Our original intention was to head to Rose Bay, but instead we drove to Watsons Bay. There is a beautiful walking track that attracts a lot of people; both tourists and locals.

It was about 18 degrees which is really warm for a Winter's day. I certainly didn't need to be wearing a long sleeve top and boots!

The walk spans across the edge of the ocean and down to the small beach where many people go for fish and chips.

Sydney has some truly beautiful views and walking tracks and I am so lucky to live so close to such beauty. The best thing about the Winter weather is being able to warm up from a walk and cool down so quickly. I do love such nice weather and there is no way I could have wasted the day sitting at a desk all day!

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Do you live close to any nice walks?

A night time stroll

Tonight I met a lovely friend for coffee and we spoke about the impending birth of her daughter. It is so lovely to hear about her pregnancy and all the many things she is excited for. We finished off the evening with a browse through Myer and David Jones looking at all the cute little outfits that she could buy for her baby.

Once I got home, I was greeted by a happy little dog who desperately wanted to go for a walk, after days of rain and being cooped up inside. Teddy hates getting wet, so for the past few days his outside time has been limited to toilet time only. S grabbed the camera and we hopped in the car and drove down to Black Wattle Bay.

Teddy loves to play racing. With a little 'on your marks, get set and go' he is off like a light flash. Heaven forbid you manage to beat his four little legs (almost impossible, he is incredibly fast!), as he will certainly act like the sore loser.

Black Wattle Bay is so relaxing to walk around in the evening. Even more so tonight, as there were only a handful of people on their evening walk.

The faint sound of cars on the Anzac bridge and the distant sound of seagulls whilst walking is a lovely end to a hectic work day.
